Amazing hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Bristol. We had a large twin room, luxurious bed linen and very comfortable beds. We had complimentary gin, coffee pods, dressing gowns and lovely toiletries. The staff were all delightful. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful in the beautiful restaurant. We had an hour in the spa, which was in the vault of the old bank, very unique and luxurious. Throughly recommend

Hotel is really central and in a beautiful if quirky old bank building. Room was excellent - on a girls trip for Christmas shopping we had a delux twin and it was great - huge bathroom with two basins, huge shower and a separate bath. Breakfast was included on our rate and it was very nice. We were able to order cooked as well as continental options and both enjoyed the menu choices. Small gripe - we arrived at 2pm and stated checkin was 3pm. I asked if the hotel was busy that night and was told no quite quiet, however, our room was not yet serviced and avialable. If a hotel only has a few rooms let for the coming evening I would have thought it would be a good idea to do them first so arriving guests could be accommodated a little earlier if needed. The receptionist did text me once the room was ready which was a nice touch as we had gone out to explore Bristol, and they stored our bags at the beginning and end of our stay. We chose the hotel primarily because it had a pool and looked nice online. You have to book a one hour slot as the pool / jacuzzi area is v small. Spa is underground down some v steep steps so not good if you are less mobile (Don't think there was a lift) and the pool is in an old bank vault. Maximum two people in it at a time and you have to climb up steps then down a ladder to enter, again not good for any disabled or less mobile visitors. We were fine but if I had brought my elderly parents they would have been unable to use the spa facilities. We had a room overlooking Corn Street and on a Monday they started emptying bins at 5am so we were up earlier than planned! Not sure if this is only once a week, Tuesday morning was quieter. Overall a good experience for us and we would stay at the hotel again

Had a lovely festive afternoon tea in the restaurant today. The staff were all friendly and gave excellent service. The menu was talked through and we were shown which item was which. The food itself was delicious! The scones were the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had lots of afternoon tea . We couldn’t finish it all but they gave us some boxes to take the rest away with us. The setting was beautiful and I would happily have afternoon tea here again. Thank you!

Divine hotel. Being greeted by the lovely Annabelle made us feel right at home. Perfect after a long coach journey. The beautifully decorated restaurant was spotless. Location is perfect + Bristol is very walkable. Room: Other reviews state rooms were small, I would advise going for the superior or deluxe options, as the price difference is modest and will be absolutely worth it. We stayed in the deluxe suite which it was generous for two people. Our room was facing the street and I didn't hear any noise. Spa: I had a nice chat with Nellie who was very accommodating at the spa reception. Steam, sauna, hydrotherapy pool and a spacious jacuzzi with 4 different settings - exactly what you need after a long day exploring the lively, eventful Bristol. I like how the spa doesn't get crowded because everyone books their slot. And finally... Lucy ensured a smooth checkout and kept our bags safe while we explored on our last day. Book directly - call the hotel. Kindness begets kindness.

Excellent hotel! Amazing staff and brilliant location. Spa was lovely, room was cool (just how I like it) and despite there being a wedding on the weekend we visited - couldn't hear a thing! Will definitely return!

Great location. Lovely old building (bank). Slightly quirky interior. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast (great hot options all cooked to order; reasonable continental offer but only a small amount of anything actually kept out on display). Slightly odd having complementary dribble of gin in the bedrooms. Small gym and pool.

What a beautiful hotel. We couldn't fault it. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. The spa was beautiful, in the historic basement of the hotel. My wife had a spa treatment and said it was the best she'd ever had. Our room was upgraded without us requesting it, which was very much appreciated. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants and night life. Highly recommend.

Went today for afternoon tea. Lovely staff. Had to wait for the afternoon tea to arrive and because it was later than it should have been we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Even though we didn't complain, just politely asked if it would soon be ready. What an amazing response for something that wasn't really a problem. Well done to The Harbour Hotel.
